New Fitness Trends for 2020: Hotpod Yoga

What is it?

So, you’ve heard of yoga right? Well, now think yoga, but in an ambient room filled with soothing soundscapes and calming scents – that’s Hotpod Yoga! The room is also heated to 37 degrees (so you’ll sweat a bit). Don’t worry though, the heat makes the heart and lungs work a little bit harder and it also improves flexibility as it eases the muscles.

What fitness levels is it suitable for?

Whether you’re a seasoned yogi or a newbie and can just about touch your toes, Hotpod Yoga is for you! Just let your teacher know that it’s your first time so they can make sure you’re OK. You can take the classes at your own pace and can return to your breath whenever you need. That being said, Hotpod Yoga is not suitable for pregnant women due to the temperatures, but you’re more than welcome to join in once baby is born.
