How to stay happy, healthy and motivated this spring

With the ending of lockdown restrictions on the horizon, here at boobydoo we have been looking at ways to encourage our team and our boobydooers to stay happy healthy and motivated. We had just the person in mind to give us all the boost we needed, our very own ambassador Louize.

 

Louize was more than happy to accept this challenge and came up with five tips on how we can stay happy, healthy and motivated. Have a read below or view the full video here.

Tip Number 1: Exercise 

It doesn’t have to be burpees for breakfast but you do have to move your body. Find something that fires a passion inside of you. Maybe that’s dancing, climbing a mountain, swimming in the sea or just going for a walk with your friends or your dog.

 

It doesn’t have to be massive but you do have to move your body and if you enjoy it, it’s going to make the journey a whole lot easier.

Tip Number 2: Surround yourself with postive people that are going to motivate you

Motivation does not last. It peaks its head around the corner and it leaves after a minute. So you need to create healthy habits and if you’ve surrounded yourself with positive people that are also doing this it makes your journey so much easier and it’s great craic!

Tip Number 3: Eat Healthy

Try to eliminate the processed foods, they are doing nothing for you and nothing for your body. If you are eating your vegetables and fresh fruit that’s amazing. Drink plenty of water. I used to hate broccoli but now I try and have it everyday because I know the benefits of what it’s going to do to me and my body and I’m actually starting to enjoy it. Who knew!

Tip Number 4: Think Positive Thoughts

I know it’s really difficult, sometimes you can get a negative nelly on your shoulders and it just brings you down but try and switch your narrative. Try and think something different instead of oh I can’t do that. Just think I get to do that. THIS IS AMAZING!

Tip Number 5: Wear Bright Colours 

You don’t have to wear them on the outside all the time you can just have something in your pocket but it does brighten your mood up. Try and wear something bright. It can just be underneath your t shirt it doesn’t really matter but this is going to lift your spirits too.
