I bought both the Shock Absorber Run Bra (30C) and the SportJock Action Sports Bra (A-C, small) and, having done a 10mile run in each, the Run Bra wins hands-down. It's incredibly supportive (with individual cups AND a crop-top like interior, my boobs didn't move at all and there were no signs of nipple-i-tis), and comfortable (the sweat-wicking material and the racer-back design). The only difficulty was getting it on, but you get used to it pretty quickly! By contrast, in the SportJock, my boobs were having a little party all on their own; jumping up-and-down, side-to-side, a macarena here, a tango there; and, needless to say, this caused my nipples to protrude! I wanted to stop within 5minutes! The plus points for it, however, are that it comes in a range of lovely colours and, again has a racer-back design. So, in conclusion, I would recommend the Shock Absorber Run Bra to anyone running; the Sportjock Action Bra for low impact activities, such as yoga or body-pump.

I recently got into jogging to try and keep more fit as us women like to do! I was looking for a sports bra to give me full support as I am now jogging more frequently. I tried on my bra straight away and loved just the look of it, if its tightness and support your looking for I would strongly recommend this bra because I didn't even feel like I had a pair of breasts when it was on no bouncing! which was perfect. Great sports bra! Makes you feel really secure although be advised the band measurement is a tight fit when compared to other makes. It is light and easy to put on plus gives you a great shape. Definitely recommend... in fact am thinking of buying another one in a different colour!

This bra is supportive, comfortable and well made. There is a feeling of quality about the product so although it is more expensive than many, it is worth it! It suits smaller sizes and you can adjust it to get a perfect fit for you. I am really pleased and have bought 2 white ones. I plan to get a black as well to complete my set!

This bra is FANTASTIC- if you are in two minds don't hesitate the support and comfort are top! have had 2 X 5 miler runs in this after receiving it yesterday and am delighted with it. it is a little smaller round the chest than earlier incarnations of Shock Absorber bras, so you might need a larger size than normal, but the comfort level is superb and almost nil bounce!

Wow! I had no idea there could be such amazing support! I am a runner as well, but horseriding is much more challenging sport for a sports bra. This model passed the horseriding test with flying colours! It was so much easier to sit relaxed in the saddle, when there was no bounce at all. By the way, this bra looks very nice too. In my opinion, it's true to size, I always use 34C. I was very pleased with the speed of the delivery. I ordered Tuesday evening and received next Monday - to Finland! I am definitely going to shop again at Boobydoo!

I had a mastectomy and immediate reconstruction 5 weeks ago, and got the go ahead from the Plastic Surgeon to start running again this week, provided I wore a very supportive bra. I did my research and thanks to all the reviews and advice on the excellent Boobydoo website, chose this one. First gentle run today and felt totally supported, very comfortable, snug and confident, no bounce, soft seamless lining, everything I hoped it would be and more besides. I'm 63 and I don't run far or fast - started 7 years ago and run every morning. My goal each year is the Manchester 10k. What joy to put those running shoes on this morning!

I tried this bra on and it felt very comfortable but tight. As I pretended to 'run' in the bra it immediately became obvious that it was going to cut into my armpits.The strap was set at the loosest setting. I'm a 32f size 12 so average size,but no way could I run in this. have sent for the next size up hoping that will solve the problem

Wow! What a difference this bra has made to my running. Since I started running longer distances I was suffering from bad chaffing with my old bra which was painful and unsightly. Comfort & fit are superb. Back clasp is a little fiddly to start with but you get used to it. Support is great when running up & down lots of hills - believe me that matters. Don't know I'm wearing it after awhile whereas before I definately felt like I was wearing over shoulder boulder holders.

Running is enjoyable again now I have the correct bra. Its sooo good the way you can adjust the bra in 3 places. Especially across the top of the back. I used to tie my old bra up with a hairband for extra support. Boobydoo was easy and very fast service. I give them 11/10 and would not look elsewhere in the future!

Good comfortable support without the underband chafing I've had from other shock absorber styles. Also gives much more attractive boob shaping than the 'rugby ball' effect from early shock absorber cup shapes! Tested up to 10k - hope to be testing at half-marathon level soon!

I bought the new shock absorber bra, although I am small chested I like to have no bounce, this held me in place totally!!!! The only down side was the top fastener I found my arms wouldn't bend round to do it up. But problem was solved! I did it up before I put it on. Many thanks, I will be buying this one again. This is indeed a great new bra. It is a very soft material and is extremely supportive. However, I did have a little bit of a problem with the catch rubbing at the back. After running 9 miles in it, I did have a small welt under where the hooks and eyes are on the back. I'm hoping that once it's been through the wash a few times this will soften it a bit and I won't get this problem again. The service from Boobydoo was excellent. I would reiterate someone else's comments that its fit is on the smaller side - round the chest rather than in the bust.

Excellent bra! Best sports bra I have found, so much so i've now got 2. I have worn it for a 2 hour bike ride and had no rubbing or discomfort. It is incredibly soft on the skin and supportive. I recently purchased the new Shock absorber running bra... WOW, thank you so much for the super quick delivery it arrived the following day, your website was really easy to use and the best bit is the Bra does what it says!!! I am a long distance runner and rarely run a shorter distance than 10k I am a 36DD and suffer really bad from chaffing to the point I have blisters on scars.. Having used the shockabsorber bra for two weeks including a 12 mile run, I have had NO chaffing whatsoever, my boobs feel great with practically no movement.. Unfortunately they are now out of stock, please contact me when you have more available..

I bought this bra to compare to the enell 2 but it arrived first and on trying it I decided to keep it. A little less comfortable in the back with the high strap(this has improved with wearing)and a little less high cut so marginally less supportive than the enell. Better looking and better shape but still very good support (much better than any previous shock absorber I have owned and I've had a few).

What a fab bra ! I usually wear an Enell, but saw this advertised as a specific running bra, so thought I would try it ! Arrived quickly and with excellent service as usual ! (well done boobydoo!) Tried it out on treadmill last night (as still snow on the ground) and felt very secure, and very little bounce ! would recommend !

Brilliant service from Boobydoo - ordered the item on Monday, had it on Tuesday!!! Someone had written a review saying the bra was a bit smaller than the normal size, and I just assumed it was because it has to give more support. However when I put the bra on, it was much tighter than other Shock Absorber bras I have bought in the past. But I decided to give it a go. I went for a 4 mile run today and the support it gave me was great. The difference between this bra and the usual shock absorber bra is huge. I am quite well endowed, so this has made a big difference to my comfort. Great stuff!

What can I say?! This bra does exactly as it says on the "tin", I will be back for more. A little tricky to put on so pulled over my head however once on is so comfortable and once getting "hot and bothered" the bra stayed put and didn't cling to my skin. Fantastic support given!

Very impressed to receive bra next day after order. Couldn't wait to try it and wore it for first time to do half marathon yesterday. Lovely and comfortable; no bounce, no chafing. Would definitely recommend. Normal size 36C bit tight around chest area, so ordered one size bigger, which is a perfect fit. No problem or delay with return and replacement.

Am not that big but have terrible breast pain at the time of the month which stops me exercising and this bra is so good in its reduction of bounce that I can now continue running all month!!!

I was really disappointed in this bra. It felt odd but OK when I tried it on so I took off the labels and went for a run. After about 2 miles I started to get a nasty ache behind my neck and across my shoulders. I can't wear it and can't return it!

This is a really good sport bra. Comfortable and supportive. I find that it pulls slightly on my shoulders but I have a slight curve at the top of my spine which might explain it. It's still the most comfortable sport bra I've ever had.

Finally, after many years of searching I have found the one piece of essential sportswear that alluded me. A bra that supports me perfectly enough, to give me the chance to take up running. It does exactly what it says on the write up. It holds you and reduces the bounce by a significant amount, and is very comfy. I've only used it twice, but I've already ordered my 2nd one in another colour. This would work for any sport not just running. Size 38E. Thank-you Boobydoo and Shock Absorber! It's worth every penny!!!

I've recently taken up running, as part of an outdoor military exercise group in my local park, I found it difficult to run with my GG boobs (even in a sports bra), but this bra really keeps them in place! It's a little strange getting used to the racer back style and the top fastener, but is easy once you get used to it. But most importantly, I can participate in the classes and run much better. Great running bra - thanks shock absorber!
