This is the best thing since sliced bread! I cannot recommend this enough. I am a 30DD and i really, truely had given up trawling the high street department stores and sports shops looking for my size (the nearest i got was a 32). My very last ditch attempt was a google search for sports bras...the past reviews definitely helped me, and i took the plunge ;) - i've gone from a 2/10 support to a 9/10 support - if you've given up hope - this is the bra for you! I've always had shock absorber sports bras but this one beats them all its comfy and awesomely supportive and it looks so much better than a lot of other sorts bras that provide this level of support. Its great incase you hadn't guessed.

I am very pleased with this bra - I have always had problems finding one for my size and ith enough support - it is by far the best sports bra I have ever bought. The support is good, although there is still a little movement (but this is nothing compared to other bras I have tried)

Wow...this bra is brilliant. It felt 'snug' at first but just showed how sloppy my old sports bra was. I run for an hour or more most days and I had very limited movement with this bra. I agree that the racing back can be fiddly to put on but once you are used to it its fine and really supportive. Highly recommended for us busty women!

I tested this style of bra for some months before deciding to purchase another. I have found it excellent for reducing the boob bounce to a minimum (30E). Like the new colour regime (carbon /dust powder). As many have mentioned before it can be very snug and awkward to do up - till it loosens up. For a sports bra it does give a pretty good shape. I am delighted at how quickly it arrived - less then 24 hours after ordering.

Bought this bra in my size 30F. It was much smaller around the back than my normal bra and too tight. Cup size was perfect. Did the test of jumping up and down and it did not offer as much support as Shock Absorber Impact Level 4D+ bra, which I did buy, and love!

2 months ago I purchased the Shock Absorber B4490 as I am off travelling shortly for an indefinite period of time and, having had bad experiences on previous stints away (loss of bra-shape and elasticity around the back, brusing fom wire), I wanted to find a highly durable, wire-less bra that would with-stand almost constant wear, give infallible support, would not ride up my back, and, of course, be comfortable at all times. I believe this bra fulfills these criteria, however, be warned when you first wear it, it is rib-crunchingly tight. This loosens up and becomes comfy, but it takes a couple of weeks. Also it kind of squishes you together, and doesn't give great shape under clothes, like a fashion bra would. However, this wasn't a travel requisite for me and I'm more than happy to take it along.

This bra is fantastic!! I've had it 2 weeks and have worn it to the gym and circuit training, and it had almost completely eradicated any bounce. The support is brilliant, and it's very comfortable too. If you don't have one, get one!

Comfortable and supportive bra - the best for my level of activity. Not sure if it's suited to all depending on your flexibility (as it has to be fairly tight on, there is a bit of contortion getting into it - over the head and shoulders). I prefer this style than wired (hard or soft), and you don't need to constantly adjust, which means you can get on with your activities. I also haven't noticed any elastic rolling at the ribs, and the breadth of the straps at the shoulders make this easy wearing for long activities (it is do-able to keep this on for a good few hours).

ordered 32E for my daughter which fits fine. Bit fiddly doing 2 sets of clasps up but great once done. Ordered 32D for myself and really disappointed. Couldn,t get it over my head. 1 set of clasps (unlike the E size) and the other bit fixed and not stretchy. Great colour though, fed up with only black and white bras!

Even though I had read some reviews saying the fit of this bra seemed small I bought it in my normal size (32DD) and the fit is great! It always seems a little tight across the back at first but gives a great fit, very little bounce and is really comfortable. I would recommend it to anyone!

This is a super supporting sports bras ideally suited to high impact/high energy sports such as running, horse-riding, skiing, rugby etc. Its so stylish it can be worn under a crop top/t shirt or on its own. A good sports bra esp. if you have, like me, a DD+ cup-size but a small back size. I found it slightly uncomfortable the first time I wore it, just around my armpit and shoulder, but since then it has become a faithful friend and I actually prefer it to all my other bras for comfort and support. Preferring to buy crop-top/muscle-back style sports bras, I thought this one might be a winner as it is designed to provide Level 4 support for D+ sizes. However, although the bra undoubtedly causes less rubbing whilst running long distances, the low cut of the bra does not limit the amount of 'bounce'! I am not sure that this is really a *Level 4* style sports bra, particularly for D+ sizes. Shock Absorber should combine the relative comfort of this bra with the 'Anti-bounce' design of the B518 which I have previously bought (and is only Level 3)! Then, I believe, they really would be onto a winner!

I am sooooo impressed. I ordered my bra in desperation as a 34d/dd with a marathon in 4 weeks. I had a bra style shock absorber with good support but which rubbed my chest bone red raw, and a crop top style top where the support was not as good. This bra is crop top style with no rubbing, but inside it seperates the cups and gives great support. The added bonus is the look, it looks amazing under clothes like zip up jackets and running vests due to its smart back and colour and if I had the stomach I would wear it alone.

Although still some bounce whilst running on the tread mill, it's the best sports bra I've tried to date. I wore a cropped vest over the top of the Shock Absorber and there was virtually no movement at all. I would definitely recommend it.

I love this bra its very comfortable and has great support. The ocean is a lovely vibrant colour, it's a shame all the really nice colours in this bra are limited edition. It's taken me a while to find a sports bra that has it all and this one does.

Initially I was delighted with this bra, it felt comfortable and supportive.However at the end of the 12 mile run I had a sore spot around the lower fastening and the bra was blood stained. On investigation and comparison with my other bras both sport and normal wear, I realised that the piece of fabric which extends beyond the eyes of the fastener is half that of all my other styles. I fasten my bras on the last set of eyes and there is insufficient fabric to protect me skin in this model. So feel frustrated and feel I have wasted my money. That said, have no complaints about the speed and efficiency of service from Boobydoo. size 34E

As someone with a bigger bust (36E) I would say this bra is brilliant. The back fastening is quite fiddly but means that you get the racer back, which holds you much more securely I find that the conventional shoulder straps. I'm glad I bought 2, I'd wear them all the time but they're not the prettiest of things!!! But purpose over style rules in this case!!

More supportive than the Sportjock bras I used to wear. The second hook and eye fastening on the larger sizes is a bit fiddly but not impossibly so. Eliminates a lot of bounce and is comfortable to run in.

This bra is great - easy to put on and very comfortable. It does not eliminate all of the bounce but at size 34F, age 46 and 3 kids later I'm not expecting miracles. I wore it yesterday for the first time on a 6 mile fell and it eliminated my need to hold my boobs whilst running down the steep road section. Also tried the Enell but found it to be too restrictive. I've just finished my 2nd gym workout wearing my new sports bra and had to write a review. It is FANTASTIC. I wear a heart rate monitor and with this bra there is no issue as it sits really comfortably underneath. The support is amazing, no movement but not strapped down either (I'm a 34F). I bought the pink/purple one and it's very pretty too. Service from Boobydoo was fab, received an email to say bra being despatched and it arrived day after I ordered it. Anyway, really can't rave about this bra enough!!

This bra is a great buy! I done a aerobics work out without a sports bra on the other day and it really hurt and I could hardly do anything so I thought I would treat myself and buy myself a sports bra. So i decided on the one with the most support and that looks the best and I am really happy with it. I was able to take my aerobic exercies to the full, i could jump around and really build up a sweat as it didn't hurt half as much!! So I am very pleased! I'm deff going to buy some more soon.

This is the second one of this style that I have bought. I think the bra could be slightly more supportive but its good enough for the activities I do (jogging, yoga and pilates) bearing in mind I'm a 34FF. It's very comfortable and very pretty for a sports bra, especially in the berry. It also dosn't shove my boobs off to the side and under my armpits like a lot of sports bras. The fastenings can be a bit awkward, I recommend putting your arms through the armholes, doing up the top clasps then pulling the bra down over your boobs and finally doing the bottom clasp up. Overall a very good bra.

I am so disappointed with this bra - it promised much but delivered little. The racer back squashed everything together into one massive bosom and there was little in the way of proper support. If you are looking for a bra to run longer distances in do NOT buy this one - far too much movement!!

I found this bra extremely comfortable and with good support after years of wearing something too small in an effort to reduce bounce(still a tiny bit of bounce here - but everything feels secure). The twin fastening at the back means you need to be a contortionist to reach the top one - but it's worth it! As for BoobyDoo's service - I can't fault it - super speedy - thank you.

This bra has got to be the best I have tried so far - with DD I need support while running and be comfortable. I sweat quite a lot and this sometimes makes other bras rub but not this one so far - will see this weekend - having to do a 2 hour run - I am confident that this bra will hold out. Number one on my list so far - the only improvement could be the straps - I need them just a tad shorter for the perfect fit

This is a good, supportive bra but at 36DD doesn't eliminate enough bounce to make it comfortable running in. Wearing two ordinary bras is still more supportive. The extra strap higher up the back is very tricky to master. It's good for Aerobics unless your instructor gets you dancing manically to Timmy Mallet's 'Itsy Bitsy Teeny Weeny Yellow Polker Dot Bikini'. In that case you may need tougher reinforcement.

Fabulous, I used to love Sportjock, but the ease of putting this on, makes it better. Superb support and comfort, because of the racer back the straps don't slip down. I've been toying with the idea of starting running for a while and always used the excuse that I couldn't find a good enough sports bra. Well there are no more excuses! This bra is great, there was hardly any bounce and the padded straps meant there was no painful pinching on my shoulders. The double fastening on the back was initially a bit tricky but after a couple of practices I can do it all by myself! The only reason this bra didn't get 5/5 for comfort is that it feels a little restrictive around my chest when I breathe in deeply, although this is probably because I've never worn a bra designed to hold in 36DDs when running! Quick note about postage too, how did it get here so quickly? I think it only took 12 hours! Amazing!

A little tight and achey across the shoulders at first, but probably as a result of not being used to proper support and the racer back. Fits snugly around the ribs, very comfortable and surprisingly soft. Bought my usual size and it fits very well. I don't have a problem with the double fastening, it actually fits much more comfortably because of it. Doesn't totally eliminate bounce (but with 36Es that would take a straitjacket!), however it's now very minimal. It still allows you total freedom of movement for things like Yoga. It also looks great on it's own if you are brave enough to wear it as outerwear in the gym. I use it mainly for horseriding. Would also highly recommend the service from boobydoo, it arrived less than 48 hours later with full options for a free-post no-quibble refund or replacement if required. Very pleased.

I have tried lots of sports bras and this is definatly the best! it gives you a lovely shapo and is like a top so it doesn't matter if it shows under your sports clothes. I am an aerobics instructor and have to look good on stage and this bra is definatly a good start! This website is very easy to use and ideal for buying a bra!

Very comfortable and the second back fastening makes it feel extra secure without the under-bust band having to be too tight. Felt like it wouldn't support too well but it was great - I probably wouldn't wear it for a very long run but fine for normal stuff and I like the colour!

This is the first time I have used your site, which I saw in running magazine. All I can say is what a first class service you provide. Once again, boobydoo has come up trumps! This is BY FAR the best bra EVER for running in, and it will be getting the mileage as I train for the London Marathon. After my previous shock absorber I didn't think anything would be as good but I was wrong! For us larger ladies out there this is the one. My advice would be to check Janes sizing chart as my size for this is different to usual. Great bra - the marathon spectators won't be so shocked when I run past them now!!

i found this bra to be very comfy. with a G cup its not easy finding any bra that stops the bounce but this one is the best so far, it does flatten them to your chest but there is no other way. riding dressage to what must be the most bouncy of horses it does give the bra a great test i love the colours i do hope they will bring them out in more varieties as you feel that you have somthing nice on and not boring scaffolding. GREAT :)

I bought this bra based on the reviews on Boobydoo's website and I am so glad I did. I took up running about 6 months ago and wish I had bought this bra back then. I did previously wear another type of Shock Absorber sports bra but the Shock Absorber Impact Level 4 D+ Max Support Sports Bra Top is by far the best. I have a large bust and have never felt so comfortable running or skipping. Would highly recommend it and also Boobydoo - their service was second to none. Well done!!

Lovely colour, nice fit (as I already had a black and white one, I knew which size to get, although I have found that sometimes the different colours do fit differently). I would have to disagree with the "size guide" on this site though, and just go with what your back/underbust actually measures - if I was to add 4/5 inches, as suggested, that would be way too loose. Fast and cheap delivery, hope you get some more exclusive colours in soon.

This is a nice bra but it is a little fiddly to do up the top clasp up, I often have to ask my husband to help. The bra is supportive and comfortable. I would recommend this bra but not sure I would buy another because of the two clasps that have to be done up each time.

The bra was easy to put on and comfortable, probably more so than some of my other sports bras but I did not find the support as good as I thought it would be. I am a D cup and I run and do a lot of gym work, it was fine for the gym work but I may be tempted back to my old Shock Absorber B109 for the running as I feel it provides more support, although it does not look as nice!

i love the fact that the style looks like a racer back so it feels more secure but best of all is the two seperate hook and eye fastenings at different levels on the back. all the benefits of a racing back without having to dislocate your shoulders getting it off! the slight awkwardness of doing up the higher hooks is worth the overall effect in my opinion. brilliant design and comfy too.

keeps everything up where it should be with the undo-able racer back - love the shape and atyle of the front and brilliant fastening at the back. a little awkward to do up but the result is worth it to me.

Another glowing review for this wonderful bra! As a smaller lady I've had real problems finding a bra that would a) fit and b) give support but this item has finally given me exactly what I needed, although I did have to swap for a 32A despite my usually wearing 30Bs I spent over 20 minutes on the cross-trainer at the gym the first time I wore this and felt no soreness at all - It's so good I'm thinking of getting a black one to wear at work!

i am a very active 18yr old and my main sports are Karate and Taekwondo though i do anything and eveything with adrenaline =D my last sports bra was a nike pure strength sports bra 32D and while it lasted, it was a decnt bra but then the material started to fray and it discolured i decided to have myself measured again (i had lost alot of weight due to a health condition) and was shocked when i was told 28C i searched everywhere on the net for one that would fit and finaly found this! it is an excelent bra that is quite flattering (the pics of the white ones dont do it justice) i would strongly recomend this site to anyone wishing to invest in a damn good sports bra, these guys are the best by far! (unfortunately i was sized wrong and am returning for a larger size, i am infact a 32C :D) i know where i and my friends are coming for our next sports bras! thanks a million!

Im delighted that this bra now comes in smaller sizes, as having tried level 3 impact bras i hadn't found they offered enough support. This i have used for running, squash and pilates and have found it to be supportive, comfortable and easy to get into/fasten; the slate colour is lovely too, a very welcome change from white! Happy to give the bra a thumbs up, and the service from Boobydoo too, was fast, efficent and easy.

I was not sure how good a sports bra can really be, but after seeing a tv programme about how your breasts can move up to 14cm when you are jumping/running i decided it was time to take action. I hate the way most of the really supportinve sports bra's look but this shock absorber sports top looks attractive and definately does the job! i went for my first run yesterday and it was a new experience. My Breasts no longer weigh me down!

I have had this bra in the past...its fab! super support and comfort. i do have to say though, i measure up at a 28ff, i do normally buy a 30 back and thats the size i had previously but thought to extend the life of the bra id go for the smaller size. this bra back sizes comes up tiny, i know sports bras have to have good anchorage, but i couldnt even get it around my back it was that small, so ill stick with a 30. ive noticed the higher the supprt level the tighter the backs come.

Great colour, great fit and less bounce! There is still some movement, but I don't think I'll ever totally eliminate that without wearing two bras together. This one fits well and was comfortable for the whole class. And I ordered my usual bra size (30GG).

Always struggled to find anything to fit my fuller shape!! After returning the SportJock bra to boobydoo, I called for advice. They really know their stuff!! I was recommended to the new Shock Absorber which has won the award for the best sports bra by runners - now I know why. Received it the next day and was wowed. I cant say a big enough THANKYOU ! I have searched site after site, catalogue after catalogue, tried on bra after bra and at the age of 44 i have finally found a sports bra that not only fits.... but really supports too!! Having big boobs and being unable to find a suportive bra has ended up in me avoiding exersise for years. Last week I recieved this bra and from the moment I put it on I couldnt stop smiling :-) This week alone Ive done a workout DVD, a yoga DVD and I plucked up the courage and went for a jog!!!! (without having to hold on to my boobs or pulling uncomfortable stray bra straps up over and over again!) Amazing! Not bad for someone who hasnt exersised for years and is 4 stone overweight. Now I have found this wonderfull bra I will be purchasing one in every colour and I dont think I will be overweight for very much longer... Thankyou so much.
